The City of Chamblee was incorporated by the Georgia legislature on August 17, 1908. It is one of eight cities located within DeKalb County.The City of Chamblee is 2,009 acres or 3.5 square miles. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, Chamblee is comprised of 9,552 people.
